The Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce supports the business community working together to ensure a prosperous business environment in the Four Flags area.

The Chamber is a voluntary organization working with the business community to foster growth and prosperity. With over 700 members, the Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to serving not only the business community but also the local economy that helps these businesses prosper. Making our area a better place to live in all aspects, the Four Flags Area Chamber stands as an exceptional organization for a community of 30,000.

Running Strong for Future Growth

Only eight years older than the Declaration of Independence, the Chamber of Commerce is an organization that continues to foster growth in the business community. Since 1919 the Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce has continued to prosper, and help the community in many ways. Our Chamber is one of the fastest growing Chambers of Commerce in the state of Michigan. The Four Flags Area Chamber serves all types of area businesses – from the small mom-and-pop shops to area fortune 500 companies. Although each business is unique in business types, practices, and personalities, the Four Flags Area Chamber is always willing to work with each individual business to help them prosper in every way possible.

The Four Flags Area Chamber offers the business community, non-profit organizations, and many clubs the chance to grow and prosper. In many cases the Chamber of Commerce combines efforts with the city and county governments to address industrial, public relations and economic development projects. The connection the community Chamber has with the state and national Chamber of Commerce opens up the opportunity for organizations to take an active part in state and national affairs.

The Chamber offers businesses and organizations the opportunity to make our community aware of the world around us and to help ensure that our community rises above the average small town attitude and economic status.

Informing and Attracting Visitors and Future Residents

The Chamber is the “Front Door” to the community. One of the many important jobs the Chamber has undertaken is welcoming newcomers, visitors, and fielding inquiries. The Chamber offers a library of directories, reports, surveys, maps, tourist and travel folders, and calendars of functions and events to help newcomers and visitors alike understand our inviting and prosperous community. Many visitors stop in the Chamber’s office to find out about local businesses or new sites for industrial development. The Chamber is a resource for community members as well as a liaison to help those interested in our community obtain the proper information.

To help initiate the desire for inquiry, the Chamber provides a free web page for all business members, which is connected to the Chamber’s website. Here patrons can access complex information about the business environment and our community, or simply a restaurant menu.
