Always extending a caring hand to those in need today, the Four Flags Area has over one hundred qualified concerned doctors and specialists to provide medical services to its citizens and visitors.
Health and Healing: Lakeland Regional Health System
Our regional healthcare provider is Lakeland Regional Health System. Its goal is to serve as a catalyst in the development and implementation of new ideals of healthcare which cultivate the healing of the mind, body and spirit. Lakeland Hospital, Niles offers all general community hospital services, including obstetrics, surgery, emergency care, imaging and radiology, outpatient oncology, cardiac rehabilitation and lab services. The ever-growing Lakeland facility continues to expand to accommodate the growing community, embarking on a $21 million renovation in 2002. With the increased need for medical office space, Lakeland has developed plans to build in Longmeadow Corporate Village to provide office space for five new physician practices. Also, Great Lakes Eye Care has plans to utilize the newly-developed corporate village. The facility will house two full-time physicians, one rotating physician and an optical department.
